I am currently a Medical Student at Newcastle University where I'm undertaking research into Neural responses and connectivity using MEG. Some of this research also takes place at the new York NeuroImaging Centre at York University.

I'm the maintainer for the Debian packages of kst and ifrit and am working with some of the team at York to develop flexible EEG, MEG and MRI analysis software which will be released under the GNU GPL once we have enough to be useful for other people. I also hope to package this software for Debian once it is mature enough. I am not an official Debian Developer but hope to enter the New Maintanier process sometime early in 2005.

I used to help edit LinuxFromScratch and was the project leader for Beyond LinuxFromScratch from July 2001 until March 2003.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
