Bento is an open, non-proprietary page definition language which follows object-oriented principles (encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism). It offers an object-oriented alternative to the standard template-plus-scripting technologies for handling dynamic content (PHP, JSP, ASP, Velocity, WebMacro, etc.).

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
