Blubird is a Do By Doing (DBD) approach to content management. The idea is to do everything by manipulating objects in the environment rather than hunting down menus and commands. It is built on PHP XBL XUL XPCOM. While XBL and XUL are Mozilla supported, they are well defined standards usable by any application. There are three components to this project: Blubird Core, Blubird Apps, Blubird Support. Blubird Core is the development of Blubird. Blubird Apps show how to simplify applications that depend on several interfaces. Blubird Support makes it easy to build applications based on Blubird on the web and stand alone.
