Freshmeat page:

Notes: This project is now a part of Javuh

DX0 is a dhtml library that is available in PHP, Python, and Perl distros. Hence, it has the advantage of being able to generate browser code based on the user agent string sent in the HTTP header. Should have been done a long time ago... maybe it was... anyways, that's the first half of the library.

The second half of the library is a JavaScript API that can manipulate elements after the page has loaded. It is anticipated that much of this will be automated by scripting so that beautiful, wondrous, cross-browser pages can be made by people without having to learn the intricacies of dhtml (which are many and IE5.5 added a bunch of crap and Mozilla is settling down, but who wants to keep up with it?)

The final project is a file format for storing DHTML objects that can be exchanged between DX0 scripters and loaded in PHP, Python or Perl. The file format is based on Python's pickle format, with a strict structure applied.

Yeah, well, anyways, join the mailing list at egroups. it's a good project.
