This is the beginnings of an initiative to convert all currently available free software documentation into DocBook. No more text, no more yodl (whatever that is), no more LinuxDoc, no more HTML, no more .

One of the key things will be to help LDP authors out to move to DocBook. Or even take over old unmaintained documents. It would be nice to have all of the mini-HOWTOs in DocBook too.

This will also require some resources for using DocBook as the currently available tutorials and guides are rather patchy.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
