The DragonFlyBSD Project is an Operating Environment (OS) designed to be the logical continuation of the FreeBSD-4.X OS series.

The aim is to steer the BSD base into a totally new path than the one taken by FreeBSD-5.X series. It is the belief of DragonFlyBSD developers that the correct choice of features and algorithms can yield excellent scaleability and robustness.
