The JFS4BSD Project, is an effort to port IBM's Journaled File System (version 2) for OS/2 to FreeBSD. This will allow OS/2 users to freely use JFS on FreeBSD without any problems. Currently, the project is suspended, because more functionality is being added to the Linux version of JFS, including some major bug fixes in the filesystem code, not to forget performance enhancements The project will continue once I finish my GCSEs (Final Examinations) are over. This will let me put my full concentration on the subject. Many thanks to Christoph Hellwig (hch), and Greg Lehey, for helping me startup this project, and providing me with the knowledge of filesystems. Thanks a lot! As for now, I am going to bite on something smaller, easier and quicker!
