Python HTTP XML Microsoft SQL 2000 database module.

Well, it's got all the right words in it that will make google well-happy. Unfortunately, I can't get the order of the letters right in the name of the project. Life's a bitch. Open Source Marketing doesn't exist, so who cares?

This project is the first platform-independent means to directly access a Microsoft SQL 2000 database. The Server must be running IIS and the XML-SQL-2000 plug-in, and HTTP "Basic" Authentication can be enabled (and pyxsqmll can use it).

The API is identical to MySQLdb 0.30 (which conforms to the Python 2.0 DB API), so if you are using this code you stand a good chance of having to do zero code-modifications: just import a different module name:

exec "import %s as db_module" % module_name

Python r0kz

License: Python-like

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.
