Project info for Ruby BEEP Core (beepcore-ruby)

Share This Created 27 May 2002 at 22:19 UTC by dnm.

An implementation of the Blocks Extensible Exchange Protocol, or BEEP (RFC 3080), in the Ruby programming language. The implementation intends to reach a feature parity level with other representative BEEP implementations in Java and Tcl.

The project is currently being jump-started after stalling out shortly after dnm created it in May of 2001. The project also aims to merge Ruby-BEEP code by ged, who started his own related but separate project after watching beepcore-ruby stay in stasis for so long. ged has been in contact with dnm and has joined the development effort, but much work remains to be done.
