auto2rpm converts a source tarball that uses the autotools (autoconf, automake and libtool) into source and binary rpms. The aim is to help quickly build rpms for a project that doesn't have any, or to quickly produce a prototype spec file. (How many times have you used an existing one as a prototype?)

Below is an example usage for version 1.2 of project "foo". You would run this from the top-level directory of foo's configure'd sources.

make dist
auto2rpm foo-1.2.tar.gz

This will place foo-1.2-1.i386.rpm and foo-1.2-1.src.rpm in the usual place for built rpms, e.g.: /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386 and /usr/src/redhat/SRPMS respectively.

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
