We're building an autonomous helicopter UAV with free software. The core of the system is an AVR microcontroller running our GPLed realtime system. Navigation and radio links are handled by an embedded 486 running GNU/Linux. And the groundstation is an iPAQ running the Familiar distribution of Linux.

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
