git clone git:// multitaskhttpd is a cooperative multi-tasking (single process, multiple request capable) web server framework. a proxy HTTP service has been created using multitaskhttpd which transforms incoming stateless HTTP connections into HTTP 1.1 permanent connections with Keep-Alive. the purpose of the proxy is to keep a persistent process alive server- side on a per-client basis, so that state information which would otherwise be too cumbersome, too slow or simply impossible to serialise, can instead be kept in-memory.
