Freshmeat page:

A simple Perl CGI program providing a web interface for updating news items or diary entries on a web page. It keeps a user configurable number of entries on the "current news" page and moves older entries to date-based archives. It now supports syndication of the the news/diary entiries to Advogato or other web sites based on mod_virgule. At the time I wrote this there weren't many options for maintaining a blog but now there are many better ones. Newslog a bit outdated compared to most modern blogging software.

This project has the following developers:

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.

Keep up with the latest Advogato features by reading the Advogato status blog.

If you're a C programmer with some spare time, take a look at the mod_virgule project page and help us with one of the tasks on the ToDo list!
