Following the great Perl Cookbook (by Tom Christiansen & Nathan Torkington, published by O'Reilly) which presents a suite of common programming problems solved in the Perl language, Pleac aims at gathering fans of programming, in order to implement the solutions in other programming languages.

As of 2002-02, already 14 different programming languages have their partial implementation of the Perl Cookbook in Pleac!

New Advogato Features

New HTML Parser: The long-awaited libxml2 based HTML parser code is live. It needs further work but already handles most markup better than the original parser.
